Group talks & presentations

group-talk-photo-(1).jpgTo try and raise awareness about hearing loss, our Managing Director and Senior Audiologist Karen Finch regularly gives talks to local clubs and organisations across Suffolk and Norfolk.

The presentation Karen gives is very informative, fun and interactive. It explains about hearing and hearing loss: how the ears work, how people lose their hearing, what tinnitus is, etc. We can also arrange to bring along a hearing screener to offer quick hearing checks free of charge.

Karen truly enjoys coming out and meeting new people, to talk about her passion, which is caring for peoples hearing. As she takes such pleasure in speaking to groups like yourselves, there is no charge for the talk. Also, every attendee will be given a goody bag to take away with them, including a voucher for a free hearing test for them or a friend or family member to use.

If groups would like to make a donation, then we ask that these be made out to our chosen charity, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, the only registered charity in the UK that selects and trains dogs to alert deaf people to important household sounds and danger signals.

If you would like to invite Karen along to your group for a talk, please get in touch with Laura Manning on 01473 230330 or email lauramanning@hearingcarecentre.co.uk.
