Group talks & presentations

To try and raise awareness about hearing loss, ourĀ audiologists regularly giveĀ talks to local clubs and organisations across Suffolk and Norfolk.

Group talks & presentations

Our presentations are very informative, fun and interactive. They explain all about hearing and hearing loss: how the ears work, how people lose their hearing, what tinnitus is, etc. We can also arrange to bring along a hearing screener to offer quick hearing checks free of charge.

We truly enjoy coming out and meeting new people, to talk about our passion, which is caring for peoples hearing. We take great pleasure in doing this and there is no charge for our talks. Also, every attendee will be given a goody bag to take away with them, including a voucher for a free hearing check for them or a friend or family member to use.

Online meetings: If your group doesn't meet in person, but instead prefers to conduct meetings online (e.g. via Zoom), we would also be very pleased to provide a talk in this way.

If groups would like to make a donation, then we ask that these be made out to our chosen charity, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, the only registered charity in the UK that selects and trains dogs to alert deaf people to important household sounds and danger signals.

If you would like to invite one of our audiologists along to your group for a talk, please get in touch on 01473 230330 or email info@hearingcarecentre.co.uk.
