Our annual patient Christmas party returned for 2018, rewarding patients with festive afternoon tea, a special guest speaker and a healthy dose of festive cheer!
Many of our long standing patients will remember our tradition of having patient drop-in Christmas parties, usually held at our flagship practice in Ipswich's Upper Brook Street. Last year, as we entered our 20th year in business, we decided that we wanted to do things a bit differently and pull out all the stops to make sure we could have as many patients as possible in one room to celebrate with us.
This year over 100 people attended our party at the Novotel Hotel, in Ipswich. Whilst guests tucked into festive cakes and treats, local author and personality Charlie Haylock gave a hilarious talk all about the differences in dialect throughout the country, and also a very funny Suffolk version of the Lord's Prayer.
We were also joined by representatives from Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, including working hearing dog Elton and his deaf recipient Brian. Elton loved all the attention and cuddles he received throughout the afternoon.
If you were unable to attend the event, we were sorry to not have you with us, however we’d like to wish you a very Happy Christmas and look forward to seeing you in the New Year.
