We are passionate about raising awareness of the importance of looking after your hearing health. To encourage the local community to take action towards better hearing in the run up to Christmas, our team have organised a free to attend our Hearing Care Week at our flagship practice at Upper Brook Street, Ipswich between Monday 22nd and Saturday 27th November 2021.
Attendees with pre-booked appointments will be able to benefit from a complimentary appointment with an expert audiologist, who will conduct a full hearing assessment, offer advice and guidance based upon the results and make personalised recommendations on solutions that could lead them on the path to better hearing.
Action on Hearing Loss found that many more people could benefit from hearing aids than are currently doing so - only around 40% of people who need hearing aids have them, and studies show that over time untreated hearing loss can lead to isolation and depression.
Existing hearing aid patients of The Hearing Care Centre will also be able to benefit from a complimentary hearing aid clean and check, which is vitally important for extending their lifespan and to ensure they are working to their full potential in preparation for the festive season ahead.
