The Hearing Care Centre team have started 2018 with a bang, by receiving a national award from one of the UK’s leading health governing bodies.
Managing Director Karen Finch and Operations and Marketing Manager Matthew Coward attended the British Health Trades Association Excellence Awards - an annual celebration of everything that is good about the healthcare marketplace.
The evening, which was held at the Park Plaza Hotel in London, was compered by one of Britain’s greatest ever Paralympic athletes, Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson. The BHTA represents over hundreds of members, many of which are the largest and most influential in the healthcare industry.
Presented with the Best Service Award, The Hearing Care Centre, which offers everything from hearing assessments to earwax removal, was praised for its distinctive focus on customer care, rather than sales figures. The judges noted our continued growth over the past 19 years, as well as our fantastic customer feedback and, most importantly, our investment in the training of our staff.
Customer service is a key differentiator for The Hearing Care Centre, and we are proud to have also won the Customer Care award at last year’s East Anglian Daily Times Business Awards.
Karen Finch was delighted with the news: “Being presented with the award, particularly in front of so many high-regarded members of the industry, was a real achievement and reflects the hard work by everyone throughout the company.”
