‘Barking Bake Off’ raises over £200 for Hearing Dogs

The cake sale took place at our Ipswich branch at Upper Brook Street, in Ipswich town centre and challenged our staff to bring in their showstopping bake to be judged by the people of Ipswich.

On the day we raised £205.90 for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. To celebrate our 20th year in business, The Hearing Care Centre has pledged to raise £20,000 in 2018 for the charity 'Hearing Dogs for Deaf People', with proceeds from this event going towards the final total.

Karen Finch said, “We are so thrilled with the generosity of not only our patients but also passers-by. Our staff did a brilliant job making cakes, buns, biscuits, scones, cupcakes and so much more!”

Thank you to everyone who contributed towards this final total, we really appreciate your support towards this fantastic cause. We were even lucky to be visited by hearing dog Elton and his deaf recipient Brian.

Our next charity event will be the famous Charity Pudding Club taking place on Thursday 25th October at The Froize, Chillesford. Though this event is already sold out, keep an eye on our events page to be the first to know about exciting future events we have planned.
