20 years of success for HCC

It has been well documented that this year we have been celebrating our landmark 20th anniversary and no celebration would be complete without a party.

20 years of success for HCC

In October we organised an exclusive reception to thank some of our most loyal patients, employees, suppliers and supporters, many of whom have been with the company since the beginning.

The event was held at the Suffolk Food Hall, just outside Ipswich on the banks of the River Orwell. A perfect setting for such a momentous occasion. Guests were treated to an array of food and drink, along with entertainment provided by Sole Bay Strings.

The company was esablised by Karen Finch in 1998, when she gave up her full-time job as an employed audiologist. A single mum of 2 boys, she took a huge risk and went out alone, renting her first premises in Ipswich, where she began to provide the very best hearing care available.

Talking after the party, Managing Director Karen Finch expressed her gratitude: "We were thrilled to have been given the opportunity to thank everybody for their support. Without these amazing people, we wouldn’t be where we are today. So to see them all together in one room was extremely overwhelming and humbling. "I'm sorry that we couldn’t invite everybody - as much as I would have liked to!"

"Hearing really is our passion. Through better hearing, we have helped thousands of people to live happier and healthier lives. We wanted to use our anniversary as a chance to not only look back over the last 20 years, but also to look forward to what is to come next".

In order to capture the special memories from the event we commissioned a local film production company to produce a short video of the evening. We hope you enjoy.
