The free accessory will be provided during your hearing aid fitting appointment.

By accessing this site, you signify your agreement with and understanding of the following terms of use and legal restrictions pertaining to both this site and the material in it.

1. Supply and Guarantee
We dispense the hearing Instrument(s) and other products to you, and you agree to purchase them on the terms set out here and on the order form. The heating instrument(s) and/or other products (excluding ear moulds) are guaranteed against mechanical failure or defective materials and/ or defective workmanship for a period detailed on the front of the prescription form, in the event of such failure or defect please return the hearing instruments) to our head office. Please include your name and address when returning equipment. We will at our option repair or replace with new equipment and return them to you. The guarantee is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty or mis-described equipment. For further information about your statutory rights, contact your local authority Trading Standards Department or Citizens Advice Bureau.
 
2. Invalidated Guarantee
Goods which have become defective for any reason other than in (1) above, such as interference with the hearing instrument (s) and/or other products, accidental damage, failure to use in accordance with the operating manual or repairs by an unauthorised agent of the manufacturer shall invalidate this guarantee. If you return Goods to us in these circumstances, we will notify you. We
will give you the option to have the goods back or repair them, if possible, but in either case this will be at your expense.
 
3. VAT
Partial exemption rules apply whereby professional and dispensing services are exempt from VAT. The price of hearing instruments and other products include VAT at the standard rate.
 
4. Continued Aftercare Service
Batteries, repairs, service, or any other matter concerning your purchase, hearing and aftercare services are available from The Hearing Care Centre Limited, 691 Woodbridge Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP4 4NA. Telephone 01473 2303 30.
 
5. Statutory Registration
All Hearing Aid Dispensers must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and are required to follow their standards of conduct, performance, and ethics.
 
6. Customer Care
All our Hearing Aid Dispensers are members of the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA). We conform to the BSHAA Customer Care Scheme. We endeavour to provide goods and services which conform with consumer rights, but if there should be a problem, please contact us immediately as soon as you become aware of it. You can do this either by telephone, email, or letter.
If you are unhappy with the outcome of a complaint and have exhausted our complains process, you can approach BSHAA for mediation (and ultimately arbitration) and, as a member, we will participate in this process. BSHAA can be contacted at secretary@bshaa.com | 01543 442155 | 0845 034 0896.
 
7. Sales Made in Your Home or at a Distance
If you make a contract to purchase a hearing instruments) and/or other products in your home or otherwise at a distance, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you may cancel the contract within 14 calendar days of receipt of goods by giving notice in writing of cancellation. If you do cancel, we will issue a full refund of payment made, within 14 days, less any amount stated in the Finances section marked (a) & (b) on the front sheet.
8. Retention of Title
Even though delivery of the Goods is made to you, ownership or title to the goods shall not be yours until we have received full payment. Until such time as payment has been made, we shall be entitled to require you to deliver the Goods to us.
 
9. Credit Checks
Credit facilities, if required, will only be made available following receipt of a satisfactory credit rating from an authorised credit reference agency and proof of identity. By signing this document, you give us approval to obtain such a credit reference.
 
10. Credit Agreement
If you enter into a credit agreement, under the Consumer Credit Act 1974/2006 you have the right to a 14-day cooling off period from the date you receive a copy of the executed agreement. Any such cancellation must be in writing.
 
11. Liability
With the exception of liability for death and personal injury caused by our negligence and fraudulent misrepresentation we exclude our lability to you for consequential and indirect loss and we limit our liability to you to the price you paid for the Goods.
 
12. Notices
In the event that you have to give any notice under these terms and conditions this must be in writing and sent to the company

13. Trademarks and logos

The Hearing Care Centre (referred to as "we", "us" or "our" herein) owns and maintains this site. All rights reserved.
