Professional Approach

Ongoing education and training are a vital part of our self-development and every year we attend training days organised by either our professional bodies or by manufacturers.  This enables us to keep up to date with all the latest developments.

The British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists

For a full membership of this society the hearing aid audiologist must be fully trained and qualified having passed the Hearing Aid Council theory and practical examinations.
BSHAA is recognised by the Government and is amongst those consulted when national policy changes in hearing healthcare provision are considered.

BSHHA also hold regular educational and study days. Karen Finch, Melvyn Howe and Teresa Sadler are Fellows of this society. Karen Finch has previously held the prestigeous position as president of BSHAA from 2004 – 2006.

The Association of Independent Hearing Healthcare Professionals

AIHHP is a leading group of independent hearing healthcare professionals who set standards of service and equipment far exceeding those required of other hearing aid audiologists. Members are required to attend at least 6 educational meetings a year.
Both Vicki Skeels and Karen Finch are full members.
